The functionality of this module was initially developed for use with the N30R83 maximum probability atlas of brain structures [3,4], which was officially licensed from  Imperial College London, UK. Meanwhile, however, additional atlases can also be used in the same manner.

Given brain PET and/or MR images, it allows the user to calculate objective brain structure outlines in a guided step-by-step fashion. These definitions can then be applied to PET images for the calculation of regional statistics or Time-Activity Curves (TAC), either of which may optionally be corrected for partial-volume effect.
